Following initial workshops for The Gathering, Australian writing team Belinda Jenkin and William Hannagan have spent time in New York City working with many emerging and established composer-lyricists. Winning a Creative Victoria Grant in 2014 allowed for their production to be further developed and secure a place in the New York Musical Theatre Festival where it had a sell-out reading series before returning to Melbourne this November.

Tom’s plan is to invite some friends over, he hopes for a party, a housewarming. Catch up, get wasted and stay up until dawn like they used to. But this is not your typical party.It’s been five years since they have seen Tom and the house isn’t what they thought it would be. It rattles and creaks. Sure there is storm brewing outside but inside it heats up fast!
