🎭Theatre People Industry Night

Monday, October 23rd will see Theatre People host a halloween themed Industry Night at Dracula’s Theatre Restaurant in Melbourne. Performing during the evening will be an array of up and coming talent as well as established musical theatre performers.

🎭Show Queen – October Edition

Show Queen presents their October edition of their cabaret and musical theatre variety night. The show will be held at Ginger’s @ The Oxford Hotel on Sunday, October 22nd. In a night to remember Hats Off! will celebrate their 20th year in an evening to remember. Held at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre on the set of Beautiful, the evening will pay tribute with 20 fantastic numbers. Congratulations to the cast of Miracle City on their successful opening night on Saturday, October 14th at the Sydney Opera House. Miracle City tells the story of the Truswell Family, a televangelist family with dreams to build a religious amusement park for Christian families the world over. The only thing holding them back is money.

🎭David Harris

Congratulations to David Harris (Miss Saigon, Wicked, Legally Blonde) who this week originated the role of Max Bronfman in a new version of Stephen Schwartz’s RAGS – An American Musical. RAGS is the story of Russian, Jewish immigrant, Rebecca and her son David who immigrate to the USA in search of a better life. Harris’ character is a German Jew and successful garment manufacturer. He is rather arrogant and acts very superior to the other characters.

RAGS is currently in previews. It plays at the Goodspeed Theatre in East Haddam, Connecticut (USA) until December 10th. Tickets can be purchased at

🎭Lion King International Tour

Congratulations to Australian performer Andre Jewson who has been cast as Zazu in Michael Cassel’s International Tour of The Lion King. The show will play in the Philippines before heading to Singapore, Korea, Taiwan and South Africa. Information on the tour can be found at
