Home Grown- Third Birthday
Home Grown invites you to celebrate their third birthday with them tomorrow night at Chapel off Chapel. From 7pm you will hear music by some extremely talented Australian writers. Tickets are available from http://chapeloffchapel.com.au/
The Australian cast of Kinky Boots will perform a one night only charity concert to raise money for Beyond Blue on Sunday, June 18th. Created and performed by the cast of Kinky Boots, Sydneysiders have the unique opportunity to see this supremely talented company pay homage to the divas of pop in their own Kinky way.

Only Heaven Knows– Opening Night
Tuesday, May 30th saw the Opening Night of Only Heaven Knows at Hayes Theatre. The musical is set in Sydney and tells the story of one man’s discovery of love and life in Sydney. The show has been receiving fantastic reviews and runs until Saturday, July 1st. With many shows already sold out be sure to grab your tickets ASAP.
Jesus Christ Superstar – Cast Announcement
Friday, June 2nd saw the full cast announcement of The Production Company’s next show: Jesus Christ Superstar. Joining the already announced cast members, Rob Mills as Jesus, Alinta Chidzey as Mary Magdalene and Zoy Frangos as Judas, will be Trevor Ashley (Les Miserables) as Herod and Michael Cormick (Cabaret) as Pilate. Also joining the cast are Paul Hughes, Stephen McDowell, Mike Snell and Andrew Cook.
The ensemble members are: Embla Bishop, Jared Bryan, Angelique Cassimatis, Emma Clark, Zoe Coppinger, Sage Douglas, Nelson Gardner, Glenn Hill, Alex Hyne, Luke Jarvis, Kurt Kansley, Andrew Kroenert, Josie Lane, Luigi Lucente, Scott McConnell, John Reed, Thern Reynolds, Pharic Scott, Suzanne Steele, Rachael Ward and Sam Ward.
The show will play at Melbourne’s State Theatre from July 29th to August 6th for 11 shows only.

Musical Theatre Footy Day raises much needed funds for Beyond Blue
Monday, May 29th saw the men and women of musical theatre swap their taps for footy boots to contest the annual Musical Theatre Footy Day. In a tightly fought game the Lions beat the Sharks 103 to 69. Most importantly however $1,730.00 was raised for Beyond Blue. Congratulations to all involved.
Josh Piterman sings at State of Origin
On Wednesday night, Josh Piterman (Beautiful, CATS) sang the national anthem at the first game of the State of Origin series played in Brisbane. Congratulations Josh!
