MELBA- A New Australian Musical: Full cast announcement
Joining Emma Matthews on stage in MELBA- A New Australian Musical will be Annie Aitken (Paris- A Rock Odyssey), Michael Beckley (Home and Away), Caitlin Berry (Doctor Zhivago), Andrew Cutcliffe (Calendar Girls), Blake Erickson (Between Worlds), Genevieve Lemon (The Dressmaker), Adam Rennie (Big Fish) and Samuel Skuthorp.
Rehearsals began on Monday, July 17th ahead of their first public show on Friday, August 11th. The dress rehearsal on Thursday, August 10th will be a fundraiser in aid of the Actors Benevolent Fund with all proceeds going to support their work.

Home Grown: Departures and New Arrivals: Full cast announcement
Home Grown: Departures and New Arrivals will be presented at Melbourne’s Chapel off Chapel on Sunday, August 6th with the evening’s performances commencing at 7:00pm.
Performers include Natalie O’Donnell (Mamma Mia, Songs for a New World), Johanna Allen (Sound of Music), Luigi Lucente (You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown), Allyce Martins (My Fair Lady), Andrew Kroenert (Jesus Christ Superstar, Carmen) and Baylie Carson (Dusty).

MOTOWN: Live in Concert
On Monday, July 31st Theatre People will present MOTOWN: Live in Concert, an evening of entertainment at Melbourne’s Chapel off Chapel as we explore the wonder of Motown, the sounds that transformed the music industry. Leading the cast will be some of Australia’s finest musical theatre performers including special appearances from the casts of Book of Mormon, Aladdin and My Fair Lady.

Helpmann Awards
Monday, July 24th will see Sydney’s Capitol Theatre come alive as the winners of the 2017 Helpmann Awards are announced.
The awards which were established in 2001 by the Australian Entertainment Industry Association and are named in honour of Australian actor, choreographer, dancer and theatre director Sir Robert Helpmann.

Kinky Boots celebrates 300 performances
Thursday, July 20th saw the company of Kinky Boots notch up their 300th performance. Kinky Boots is currently playing at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre before they begin performances at Brisbane’s QPAC on August 22nd.
