‘Three in the Bed’ premieres at King Street Theatre

A brand ‘spanking’ new musical by Australian songwriter and actor Jonathon Holmes, is premiering at King Street Theatre, as part of Sydney Fringe from September 1. ‘Three in the Bed’ is an outrageous musical farce, about the trials and tribulations of pulling off a successful three-way encounter.

Jessica has always had a crush on Tim, who turns up to her party suddenly single. Unfortunately, Tim meets Zoe. But Zoe thinks she has a way to make all parties happy… what could possibly go wrong?

Jonathon Holmes’ portrayal of Alexander Downer in Keating was reviewed as making the audience “wonderfully uncomfortable”, and this show is bound to continue that trend. “I’ve always wondered why this kind of thing doesn’t happen more often in real life”, Jonathon said, “and then I thought about it. But it sure would make a funny musical.”

The small but stellar cast includes Aaron Robuck (Bare), Alicia Rose Quinn (Risqué Revue), Daniella Mirels (The Original Grease), Laura Murphy (You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown) and Adin Milostnik (Vast Hill).
