As a Queensland based member of the theatre community, I have been lucky to see both West Side Story and Friends! the Musical Parody this last week. While I laughed and cried amongst the many other emotions that came over me during these shows, these were not the moments that affected me the most.

To hear fellow artists speak candidly of their emotions, and challenges surrounding the current uncertainties is emotional. Artists openly asking theatregoers to donate to various state benevolent funds and other organisations to assist their friends is heart-wrenching.
