Cast Announcement: SIX

Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced, Beheaded, Survived.

This opening song of SIX: The Musical serves as introduction to each of the women who married Henry VIII. It draws attention to rhyme to remember the wives that many British children are taught in primary school: ‘Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived’

Henry VIII’s wives were women in their own right but are only remembered or referred to with reference to their relationship with a man and now they have their own story to tell.

Telling that story when the show opens in Australia in 2020 are Chloé Zuel  (Ragtime, Les Miserables) as Catherine of Aragon, Kala Gare (RENT) as Anne Boleyn, Loren Hunter (The Boy From Oz, Evie May) as Jane  Seymour, Kiana Daniele (The Boy From Oz, Nine) as Anne of Cleves, Courtney Monsma (Aladdin, Grease) as Katherine Howard and Vidya Makan (Sunday in the Park With George, Hairspray) as Catherine Parr.

Rounding out the cast will be Dance Captain/ Swing Ella Burns (Hello Dolly!, West Side Story), Karis Oka (On the Town, Woodstock) as a Swing and Shannen Alyce Quan (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Atlantis) as a Swing.
