In partnership with the Victorian Actors’ Benevolent Trust, Adam Noviello (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is thrilled to present his 2019 cabaret show recording exclusively to YouTube, Thursday, April 23rd & Thursday, April 30th.
Whilst appearing in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The New Musical, Adam was hard at work producing his award winning feature film debut, SPENCER, and in order to secure funding for post production, he embarked on a Pozible crowd funding campaign to complete this ambitious feature film project. An exclusive reward in this successful campaign was a ticket to a ONE NIGHT ONLY cabaret performance, An Evening With Adam Noviello which played to an enthusiastic audience at Hares & Hyenas in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The night of the show was filmed for archival purposes only, but thanks to the generous support of the team that filmed the show, they have edited and buffed and pimped it to look and sound magnificent so… it can now be proudly shown to the world.
While this show will be available for FREE, a link will be available for you to make any donations, large or small, to the Victorian Actors’ Benevolent Trust, a non-profit organisation providing emergency assistance to those in the entertainment industry who find themselves with nowhere else to turn.

Star of the stage Hayden Tee (Les Miserables, Matilda) recently made his Philippine stage debut as the authoritative principal Miss Trunchbull as part of the international touring company of Matilda The Musical, and now he is helping raise funds for the displaced workers of the local theatre community, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Of the local community, Tee recently said “Filipinos are one of the friendliest and most thoughtful people I know. I instantly warmed up to them when I landed in Manila. That’s why it was sad when we were forced to cut our stay short.” Tee adds, “Everyone involved in the performing arts all over the world was robbed of their source of income because of the cancelled shows. We are all in this together, so when Palabas Tayo reached out to me, I easily said ‘sure.’ I am just happy to do what I can to help out.”
The performance will be on Friday, April 24th at 9:00pm AEST and can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/PalabasTayo

It is with great disappointment that SK Entertainment, producer of Menopause The Musical, advises that after taking into consideration the current affect of COVID-19 and all information currently available from Australian Government, and the relevant health authorities in Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia, that our performances at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre, Adelaide’s Festival Centre and Perth’s Regal Theatre will be cancelled.
We are saddened that this is the case, especially at a time when the world is looking for relief. We do hope to reschedule these performances in the future.
Ticket holders will be automatically refunded in full. There is nothing you need to do for your refund to be completed. However, if you have any questions please contact the ticket agent from whom you purchased your tickets. We, our venues, and ticket agents appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
From all of us in the Menopause The Musical family, we wish you and your loved ones safety and comfort, and look forward to celebrating sisterhood and “the change” with you in the future!
To cheer our readers up, we have collated a number of videos for you to watch:
