It seems that Cinderella will be all the rage for the 2013-14 Broadway season, with the announcement of a new musical based on the 1998 Drew Barrymore film Ever After.  It will follow a production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway.

Ever After should be in good hands though, with Kathleen Marshall (who most recently won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Choreography for Anything Goes), at the helm as Director and Choreographer. Ever After will feature music by Zina Goldrich (Taylor, the latte boy) and book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler (The Alto's Lament).
