The Clocktower Theatre season returns with an exciting line-up of music and theatre to celebrate our 20-year anniversary!

Theatre fans will be in awe of the performances in American Song, a heartbreaking drama penned by playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, and the Summer of the Seventeenth Doll – a beautifully observed Australian classic celebrating its 65th anniversary. If you missed its first visit – musical-drama The Sapphires is also returning to the Clocktower stage!

Music lovers are in for a treat when Archie Roach takes the stage to perform his new autobiographical show Archie Roach: Tell Me Why. Be moved as Michaela Burger delivers her tribute to her migrant family history in A Migrant’s Son, and Lior and the Tin Alley Quartet present their celebration of Compassion. Silvie Paladino returns with Michael Cormick and Dolly Diamond for a special one-off performance of One Night Only and Opera Australia returns to our stage with a new production of Bizet’s Carmen, the classic French opera.

Our Theatre Season is never complete without our fun and exciting line-up for children and 2020 is no different with favorites The Gruffalo’s Child and The Listies – ROFLSHALBOWCO hitting the stage.

Rounding out the theatre season is the always popular Morning Music at the Clocktower, giving fans of the classics a healthy dose of nostalgia with tribute performances.
