Melbourne Musical Theatre Festival Presents

Some Enchanted Evening:

The Songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein

Some Great Songs, Some Great Artists, Some Enchanted Evening!

The inaugural Melbourne Musical Theatre Festival 6-28 January is proud to present the Australian professional premiere of Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein as its flagship festival production at the Athenaeum Theatre. This stunning collection of classic compositions features a star-studded cast of performers and a glorious parade of hits.

More so than any other musical works written for the stage, the songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein have become a fixture in pop culture and remain timeless for legions of musical theatre enthusiasts. The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Carousel, South Pacific and The King and I are just some of the cultural classics that have left their imprint on generations of music, film and stage fans.
