Rebel Wilson is set to make her West End debut in Guys and Dolls … in the role of Miss Adelaide. Wilson will play the role for eight weeks at London’s Phoenix Theatre from June 28th to August 21st.
Wilson saw her first musical, 42nd Street, when she was 14 years old. Her family dog had unsuccessfully auditioned to be in the show.
“It blew me away and I’ve loved musical theatre ever since,” said Wilson.
“I am delighted to be making my West End debut in Guys and Dolls and to be playing such an iconic role as Miss Adelaide is truly an honour. Hopefully I’ll crush it … but you’ll have to come and see me to find out.”
