Purely Pensive Productions are pleased to announce their 2013 season:

THE HISTORY BOYS
ALAN BENNETT

Set at the exclusive boys’ school, Cutlers’ Grammar, The History Boys follows the lives of students in their final year preparing for their entrance exams to Oxford and Cambridge University. The students’ academic life is shown through the classes of three different teachers, Mr Hector and Miss Lintott and the new young English teacher Mr Irwin who has quite an impact on the boys.
Purely Pensive Productions will be seeking at least 13 enthusiastic actors for their April Production. Performance week will be April 22-28
 

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ERNEST
OSCAR WILDE

Two young gentlemen living in 1890’s England tell a few white lies in order to bring some excitement to their privileged lives. Jack invents a brother, Ernest, who he uses as an excuse to escape from his life in the country to visit his flame Gwendolyn.
Algy decides to take on the identity of the mysterious Ernest when visiting Cecily at the country manor. However when both men show up at the country manor at the same time with different versions of Ernest, things quickly turn and hilarity ensues. 
Purely Pensive Productions will be seeking at least 7 actors for their August Production.  Performance weeks will be August 19-September 1.
