The Australian production of the Susan Boyle musical, I Dreamed A Dream, has been postponed due to a conflict in scheduling.

The musical was due to open at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne on May 4th, before heading to the Theatre Royal in Sydney from July 4th.

This news was announced mere weeks before auditions were due to commence.

The official Australian website confirms: “The producers of I Dreamed a Dream regret to advise that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, the upcoming Australian Tour has been postponed”

As there has been no mention of future scheduled dates, full refunds have been offered by ticketing outlets, with producers expressing regret for any inconvenience caused.

Whether we will see this musical grace our shores now, remains to be seen..
