Helpmann‐nominated composer/lyricist Matthew Lee Robinson hosts exclusive concerts in Sydney and Melbourne

Matthew Lee Robinson, Helpmann Award nominee and UTAS Stephen Schwartz Songwriting Award winner, returns from New York City to present unique showcase concerts featuring Sydney and Melbourne’s newest vocal talents performing highlights from his catalogue of award-­‐winning musicals, with songs ranging from the five-­time Helpmann nominated musical Metro Street to his latest offering Atlantis. Robinson’s New Voices is Australia’s only musical theatre showcase series in which participants work on material with the composer who created it; material recently developed in readings for Stephen Schwartz and Disney Theatrical Productions.

Robinson’s music was most recently heard in New York City at G’day Broadway, featuring a cast of Broadway alumni including Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon, Adam Kantor (Rent), Emily Padgett (Sideshow), Donna Vivino (Wicked) and GLEE’s Billy Lewis Jr.

New Voices Sydney features the performing talents of Levi Burrows, Paige Byrne, Mia Donatelli, Susana Downes, Lauren Edwards, Anne Gasko, Manon Gunderson-­‐Briggs, Bobbie-­‐Jean Henning, Laura Johnston, Nicole Kaminski, Julian Kuo, Ava Madon, Zoe Nichols, Callum Sandercock, Kayla Maree Spiteri and Jessica White.
