THE MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL RETURNS IN 2020 JAM-PACKED WITH LAUGHS ACROSS 26 DAYS
The lights of Melbourne shine a little bit brighter when the Melbourne International Comedy Festival takes over town! For three and a half weeks in March and April the city loads up on laughs, with comedians hitting stages across the CBD and further afield.
The Festival has something to tickle every funny bone with free family entertainment, world-class special events, trail-blazing solo shows and late-night fun. Celebrate the joyful, the inspiring and the silly at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
The 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival will run from 25 March – 19 April.
Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world and one of Australia’s most loved cultural events. The full program for the 34th Festival will be available from 11 February with a range of local and international shows from yet to be discovered and emerging comedians through to household and world-class names. Many shows for 2020 are already on sale including international comedic heavyweights David O’Doherty (IRL), Rich Hall (USA), Kanan Gill (India) and Urzila Carlson (Sth Africa/NZ) – joining some of Australian’s finest comedic talent including Frank Woodley, Becky Lucas, Joel Creasey, Matt Okine, Cal Wilson, Nazeem Hussain, Peter Helliar and Wil Anderson.
