Matthew Lee Robinson Returns to Present New Voices

Direct from developing his musical ATLANTIS with Broadway creatives in New York City, Helpmann-nominated composer/lyricist Matthew Lee Robinson returns to Melbourne to lead the new incarnation of his annual two-day musical theatre workshop with a unique performance outcome.

This year, 12 participants only will be selected and personally assigned two songs from Robinson’s catalogue of award-winning musicals, and for the first time, the workshop will be open to auditors. Participants will receive a private coaching session, participate in a two-day group workshop and feature in an exclusive showcase concert.

Due to high demand in previous years, participant positions will be subject to availability. The most promising candidates will be selected and accepted in the order of their applications. When 12 have been selected, applications will close.

Robinson’s music has most recently been heard in concert at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta and the Lincoln Center Broadway’s Future Songbook Series in New York City.
