Global Creatures have announced that their production KING KONG will be partnering with world renowned primate expert Jane Goodall and the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) to promote the message of conversation in theatres around the world.

“Jane’s global approach to conservation changed the game,” says KING KONG Producer Carmen Pavlovic. “All of us at Global Creatures are in awe of JGI’s incredible work and are humbled that we can assist with our new show.”

This partnership has created various fundraising opportunities, the largest being the shows involvement in the ‘They’re Calling On You’ mobile phone recycling program. The aim is for patrons to bring along their old, unused mobiles to the theatre so that they can be recycled.

There will also be an opt-in donation option for all bookings made via ticketmaster, and KING KONG is also a proud sponsor of the Mirriarl exhibition to be held at The Edge, Federation Square on June 2013, with all proceeds going to the JGI Australia.
