ABOUT JERSEY BOYS
An international musical phenomenon, Jersey Boys takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship, as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom.
Set in the vibrant 1960s, four scrappy young men from New Jersey – Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito – find a magic sound which propels them from singing under streetlights to singing in spotlights and on stages all over the world.
As personal and professional problems threaten to tear the group apart, they manage to release hit after era-defining hit, including “Oh What a Night”, “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, “Dawn”, “My Eyes Adored You” and “Walk Like a Man”. Consistently finding themselves at the top of the charts, the quartet ultimately received the highest honour: induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.
The musical biography that is Jersey Boys charts the rise, the tough times, the personal clashes and the ultimate triumph of a group of friends, all set to the music which became symbolic of and the soundtrack to a generation.
