AfterDark Theatre and Gasworks Arts Park present, as a part of the 2016 Melbourne Fringe Festival  The Boardwalk Republic

Launching in 2014, The Boardwalk Republic is the only South-side arts and theatre precinct running during the an-nual Melbourne Fringe Festival. It draws its’ inspiration from two of America’s most well known boardwalks in en-tertainment history; the infamous Atlantic City, and the family friendly Coney Island. Fast becoming a regular hub highlight of the Fringe Festival, it returns again this year; brighter, louder and with more shows and attractions than ever.

Running from the 13th of September to the 1st of October, and with 14 shows in the line-up, The Boardwalk Re-public offers up a veritable feast of entertainment for audiences with circus, theatre, comedy, cabaret, burlesque, magic, and sideshow all in the mix.

Staged within the popular Gasworks Arts Park and buildings, the program is designed as a family friendly Arts Festi-val, with free outdoor entertainment as well as a vibrant mix of ticketed productions.
