Melbourne – 28th August 2013: Tony-Award winning Australian costume designer Roger Kirk will launch a free exhibition of his visionary work for Melbourne stage show King Kong, this Friday at Melbourne Central as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
Especially curated for Melbourne Central, The Costumes of King Kong, is open to the public from Friday 30th August to Sunday 15th September 2013.
Most recently awarded ‘Best Costume Design’ at the Helpmann Awards, Kirk’s exhibition incorporates sketches, the development process and final costume photographs from the musical spectacular offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the elaborate work of costume design.
