Ringtail Theatre would like to welcome any and all to our auditions for FEED, a new work to be directed by Kassandra Tille.

Footscray flatmates Tom and Samira are straight out of university with rapidly dwindling funds and an abundance of unpaid career opportunities weighing them down. When Sam is paid to do a one-off marketing job for a fringe alt-right blogger, the two 20-somethings hatch a lucrative plan to cash in on a wave of dubious internet news. But as their operation fishtails increasingly into chaos, the pair begin to lose their grasp on product and reality alike.

‘Feed’ is a pitch-black comedy about millennial capitalism and the price of truth in a 21st-century news cycle.

Ringtail is a Melbourne-based theatre company interested in
producing new and original Australian work. Ringtail possums are gentle, adaptable, inquisitive, acrobatic, gregarious, brave and quintessentially Australian. We like our theatre the same way.

The show will be held from the 10th to the 16th of June at Northcote Town Hall, so availability in the weeks approaching this time will be essential.

Ringtail encourages people from all ranges of experience, backgrounds and skills to apply for auditions. There are a number of smaller roles in FEED, which would be ideal for an actor seeking a beginner or lower commitment role.
