AUDITION DATE
Sunday February 24th, 2019. Workshop style audition.

Characters Summary:

•       Dance/Movement
F 18+
Trained dancers for two movement pieces that will form part of the
season.

•       ‘Second Chance by Hayley Lawson-Smith
Cast – 2 characters, 1F 25+, 1M 18+
A young woman meets a childlike boy and allows him to take her on a
journey that will change her outlook forever.

•       ‘Just Some Yellow Daisies’ by Harry Paternoster
Cast – 1F 20+, 1M 18+, 1M 60+
A young couple is intent on graffiting a wall in an alleyway when they
make a startling and profound discovery.

•       ‘Moving On’ by Matt Allen
Cast – 1F 60+, 1M 18+
A grandmother is moving into a house with her grandson and they uncover
a box that belonged to her late husband.

•       ‘A Short but Beautiful Moment: The Swanry Story’ by Mitchell Sholer
and Jon Simpson
Cast – 1M 50+, 1F 18+
An absurd fairy tale involving a man, a swan, a girl and her overbearing
father.

•       ‘Hr Helmut Von Push Lecture’ by Lachlan Casey-Roleff
Cast – 1F 20+
This character acts as an assistant to Hr Helmut Von Push.

•       ‘Nothing Is Forever and nothing is forever’ by Emma Workman
Cast – 1F 30+
A woman tells her tale of releasing herself from an abusive
relationship. This is a spoken word poem and will require an actor with
a good grasp of poetry and movement.

GENERAL PRODUCTION INFORMATION:

Rehearsals will be held at the audition venue on a MONDAY night
beginning 4th March, 2019.

Performance Season is at ‘Cube 37’ at the Frankston Arts Centre, MAY
17th & 18th, 2018.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out an audition
form and bring a small photograph/headshot to your audition that we can
keep.
