Windmill Theatre Company are pleased to announce that Chris Buchanan will be joining the cast in the role of Raoul.

Having initially trained as a singer under the tuition of Susan Crawshaw and David Rogers-Smith, Chris went on to study the Estill Voice Method with Certified Master Trainer and recording producer Gerald Marko. He has trained as an actor with the likes of Don Bridges, John Orcsik and Colette Mann; worked in television with such talents as Jeremy Kewley, Damien Richardson, and John Adam; and performed on stage alongside such music theatre talents as Anne Wood, Michael Cormick, Bert Newton and Tracey Harvey. Chris’s stage credits include Eddie in the 10th Anniversary Australian Tour of the hit ABBA musical Mamma Mia!, Lewis in Pippin, General Tom Thumb in Barnum, Bobby in Crazy For You, Armand St.Just in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Mickey in Blood Brothers, and Jason in the highly acclaimed 2008 Midsumma Festival production of Bare – A Pop Opera. Chris has performed in many plays and cabarets across the Melbourne Comedy and Fringe Festivals, and has appeared in several productions and live events at Melbourne’s Crown Casino, including Brian Mannix’s hit retro show I Can’t Believe It’s Not Countdown.
