Jason has been a freelance Lighting Designer, Stage Manager and Production Manager for the past 15 years and has lit over 150 productions as well as been stage manager with companies such as Opera Australia, Oz Opera, Melbourne Theatre Company, Melbourne Moomba Water Parade, Playbox, Glynn Nicolas Entertainment, Garry Ginivan Attractions, 15th Asian Games Opening Ceremony (Doha) and the Gordon Frost Organisation. For the past seven years he has been Technical Manager at the Whitehorse Performing Arts Centre, Melbourne.

His lighting designs have included shows such as: 2008 Victorian State Schools Spectacular (Hisense Arena), The Ultimate Rock & Roll Jam Session (Victoria, New Castle, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra), Dirty Dusting (Australian Tour),The Queen of Bingo (Vict / NSW Tour), A Local Man (Australian Tour), The Peppercorn Tree (World Premiere), Oklahoma (Vict Tour), The Adventures of Peter Rabbit (Garry Ginivan Attractions), The Kazooey Island (HIT Productions), Cats, Les Miserables, Cabaret, Jekyll and Hyde and Witches of Eastwick.

Jason has worked alongside director Terence O'Connell as lighting designer on his highly acclaimed production of Andrew Lippa's John and Jen – The Musical which garnered 5 Green Room Award nominations. Other collaborations with Terence include Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Dumped – We've All Been Through It, Bat Boy – The Musical, D-Cuppetry and the Australian and International successful production of Busting Out.

Jason has also received many awards in lighting including a total of 12 Lyrebird Awards, 2 Victorian Music Theatre Guild awards and recognised with Gold and Silver from the Victorian Drama League.
