Come and see Melbourne’s next generation of acting talent shine in Shakespeare’s romantic comedy set in the transformative Forest of Arden. Come on this playful journey as four couples untangle themselves from love disguised, unrequited, lustful and impulsive to love that celebrates the human spirit and the joy of their new found world.

Cast by audition, 17 talented aspiring actors aged 15 to 18 have worked for ten weeks with director Chrissy Best, assistant director Josephine Bloom, professional actor Kevin Hopkins (appearing as Duke Frederick)fight scene choreographer Felicity Steel and dance choreographer Sue-Ellen Shook to produce a full scale production of AS YOU LIKE IT. Together the ensemble have learnt fundamental acting techniques and the essentials of movement and voice whilst also discovering what it takes to mount a professional theatre production.
