SHOW DETAILS

After the annus horribilis that was 2020, get ready to shake your groove thing as CLOC Musical
Theatre prepares to fluff the feathers, sprinkle the sparkles, and polish the platforms for an epic
journey of self-discovery, mateship and acceptance.

After a COVID inspired pause in proceedings, CLOC has come back more excited and artistically
rejuvenated than ever, and is bursting with enthusiasm and delight to be able to finally bring to
the stage the spectacle, glamour and uproarious fun that is Priscilla, the perfect show to
rediscover the excitement and joy of musical theatre, after months of silence and darkness.
Based on the iconic Oscar-winning 1994 Australian film, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert Is the
hilarious adventure of three loud, proud and very different friends who hop aboard a battered old
bus bound for the Outback to put on the show of a lifetime. Along the way, they strut, dance, sing,
laugh, cry, and learn more about themselves – while singing up a storm to a non-stop parade of
dance-floor classics including IT’S RAINING MEN, HOT STUFF, I WILL SURVIVE, I LOVE THE
NIGHTLIFE, GO WEST, COLOUR MY WORLD, BOOGIE WONDERLAND, SHAKE YOUR GROOVE
THING, FINALLY and many more!

Featuring glitz, glitter and glamour, this homegrown blockbuster will boogie its way into your
heart when Priscilla sashays its way onto the stage of St Kilda’s grand National Theatre from April
30-May 22, 2021. For further information and tickets, visit www.cloc.org.au or
