Alex Theatre St Kilda will be the host for this White Ribbon and Rachael Moore fundraiser. A reading of the classic play, 12 Angry Men but read by women.

White Ribbon is Australia’s only national, male-led campaign to end men’s violence against women.

Producer Helen Ellis says: “The cast donating their time is a shining example of how important this cause is. Everyday an Australian woman is beaten, abused and or murdered by a spouse, partner, family member, or stranger as a sign of control. Whether it is sexually, verbally, physically is irrelevant, it has to stop!”

White Ribbon’s very important vision is that all women live in safety, free from all forms of men’s violence. They are determined to make women’s safety a man’s issue too.

The cast for this momentous event are:

Noeline Brown (Mother & Son, Dancing with the Stars)
Anne Charleston (Neighbours)
Pia Miranda (Wentworth, Time of our Lives)
Jane Allsop (House Husbands, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Blue Heelers)
