VOICES: The Carrical Project, a collection of true stories exploring the tragic loss and debilitating stigma of mental illness and the creativity, character and hope that can spring out of it.

Based on true stories, VOICES is a theatre production about men with mental illness living in a rooming house in Hawthorn. VOICES returns after rave reviews in its original season from both audiences and mental health professionals. It's moving, funny, unsettling and heart-warming - see it if you've ever met, cared for, judged or worked with someone with a mental illness... it might change your life.

Just want to say that not only am I impressed by the performance of the fantastic actors, but I would like to give the entire team (backstage, volunteers, musician, EW...etc) a BIG APPLAUSE for your lovely smiles, diligence and all the hardwork & dedication that you have invested into this production. It is WORTH every waking hours, tears and sweat!

Thank you for sharing the truth about the residence from Carrical House. It has certainly open my eyes to their world. Indeed, everyone shares the same hope, love and longing to be with our loved ones in regardless of whatever stage we are at.

I have learnt that everyone deserves the same respect as the "normal" people. The thing is, what does "normal" means in the world today?

Keep up the good work!!!

Looking forward for more brilliant & meaningful productions in the future!
