Charity Hope Valentine is a young dance hall hostess with not much more than her shoulder bag and a heart tattooed on her arm.

Charity believes that "without love, life has no purpose". But how does such a person survive in a world that is cynical and opportunistic? Despite the odds being stacked against her, Charity is unique because she believes in love - and that's why we need her!

Sweet Charity is a hugely popular Broadway Classic featuring hits such as Rhythm of Life, If My Friends Could See Me Now and Big Spender, and is joyful entertainment at its most uplifting best.
