The musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel Oliver Twist was a smash hit in London when it first opened in 1960, and won two Tony awards when it opened on Broadway in 1963. Bringing vividly to life Dickens' timeless characters, Lionel Bart's most successful musical features some of the great villains of all time including Fagin and Bill Sykes. The ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more, Lionel Bart’s sensational score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and many more.
