A lone fiddler perched precariously on a small rooftop playing soulful music, a poor milkman Tevye pushing his milk cart whilst sharing confidences with his God, his wife Golde hoping for successful marriages for their five daughters with the help of Yente the village matchmaker, and a small Russian village Anatevka full of lovable characters trying to survive with tradition, music and love whilst surrounded by the winds of change and chaos. Winner of nine Tony awards, including Best Musical, Score and Book, Fiddler On The Roof is filled with rousing, heartfelt and well known tunes - 'Tradition', 'Matchmaker Matchmaker', 'Sunrise Sunset', 'Sabbath Prayer', 'To Life' and of course, the unforgettable 'If I Were a Rich Man'.
