Akina Edmonds to join cast of Barnum

Last week saw the announcement of Akina Edmonds (Beautiful) as Joice Heth. Heth was an African-American slave exhibited by PT Barnum (to be portrayed by Todd McKenney) under the guise of a 161 year woman and promoted as the former nanny of American founding father George Washington.

Further Cast Announced for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Congratulations to Oliver Alkhair (Kinky Boots), Tommy Blair, Xion Jarvis (Kinky Boots, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) and Ryan Yeates (Carmen) who will alternate the role of Charlie in the Sydney season of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Also announced this week was Lucy Maunder (Beautiful, Matilda) as their mother, Mrs Bucket.
