Congratulations to the company of new Australian musical Between Worlds on their weekend of staged workshop performances held at the Australian Theatre for Young People. The cast involved in the sell out season were Blake Erickson, Pippa Grandison, Philip Lowe, Stephen Mahy, Maxwell Simon, David Hooley, Imraan Daniels, Riley Sutton, Kuki Tipoki, Nicholas Starte, Marissa Saroca, Chloe Zuel, Julien Kuo, Nana Matapule, Brendan Xavier, Kayla- Maree Spiteri and Matilda Moran.

Grease – Newcastle

Grease Lightening roared into the Newcastle Entertainment Centre this weekend as Harvest Rain’s production of Grease – The Arena Experience was performed by a stellar main cast and a mass ensemble of local performers. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Joh for PM – Brisbane Opening

The thought provoking musical, Joh for PM played at Brisbane’s Powerhouse Theatre this last week with sold out shows of the satirical comedy based on the political career of controversial QLD ex- premier Joh Bjelke- Petersen, the QLD cowboy who set state politics alight. It is great to hear that the show has provoked many post show conversations at the Powerhouse between guests.

Paris – A Rock Odyssey

Congratulations to everyone involved in the short season of Paris – A Rock Odyssey at Melbourne’s Recital Centre. Night 1 of the production included a very special tribute to the late Jon English.

[Title of Show]

Brisbane based independent theatre company Understudy Productions new production of [Title of Show] will play at Hayward Studies from August 31st to September 10th 2017.

The show is about two struggling writers who with nothing to loose who decide to put everything on the line and create a show for the New York Musical Theatre Festival with only three weeks to go. With the help of friends they make a pact to write up to the deadline and dream about how the show changing their lives.

Performers include Matilda Award Nominee Jackson McGovern, Alexander Woodward (Grease the Arena Experience)Aurélie Roque (RENT) and Lauren McKenna (Heathers).

Curtain falls on final shows of the Australian season of Matilda

Paulini sings National Anthem at third State of Origin match
