Lizzie has had a long love affair with theatre and over the last 20 years has performed in a wide variety of shows including Josephine in HMS Pinafore (Lyrebird award) with the Fabulous Nobodys; Nina in the Australian Premiere of “A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine” with Festival Theatre Company; Mabel in “Pirates of Penzance” both with Catchment Players and Dandenong Theatre Company; Helena Landless in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” with Heidelberg Theatre Company; “Working” with Magnormos as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival; Mother Abbess in “The Sound of Music” with Whitehorse Musical Theatre; Jack’s Mother in “Into the Woods” with Devanesen Productions; “Glinda” in the “Wizard of Oz” (Catchment Players) and as “Lilli Vanessi/Kate” in Park Player’s production of “Kiss me Kate”. Lizzie has done much of her theatre work with the Fab Nobs and performed roles in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” (Domina), “Nunsense” (Sister Mary Amnesia); “Is there a Life After High School” (Woman 3), “Honk” (Ida), for which she received a Guild commendation and Lyrebird nomination and most recently in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (Rona Lisa Peretti). In recent years, Lizzie has performed in two seasons of Standing Room Only’s production of “I love you, you’re perfect, now change” and Stella's production of "Is there life after high school?" (Woman 3) at Chapel of Chapel. Lizzie has also written and performed in two one woman cabarets at the Butterfly club - “Heartaches, Hang-ups and Headcases: A Psychologists Cabaret” and "From here to Maternity" and co-written and performed in a duets cabaret "Spread a Little Joy" with Natasha Basset at Chapel off Chapel. Lizzie's most unusual production was the gothic "choose your own ending" cult show at the Butterfly Club "In the Dead of Night". Lizzie enjoys balancing her theatrical world with her real life as a psychologist and wife and mother to two beautiful cherubs Ben and Isobel.
