Welcome to the New Theatre People Talk!

Its easier than ever to make posts on the new TP Talk board. No longer do you have to send in emails to the mysterious tptalk@theatrepeople.com.au (although traditionalists are quite welcome to do so), but you can get your own login and make posts yourself!

One of the fun new features about the new TP Talk is that you can also comment directly to posts (and you don't have to be logged in to do that either).

So in summary, on the new TP Talk, you can

  • make posts on your own (login required)
  • comment on other peoples posts (login not required)

If you do however try to comment without logging in, it will be added to our 'approval' queue so we can check the content is okay before we approve it to go online.

So hurry up already and register with us now.

New Theatre People

Love the new site, guys.

Now all we need is an RSS feed for features and reviews. :)

Cheers,

Ian Nisbet

RSS Feeds

Ah! Thanks, Tim. Safari didn't recognise them. :)

Perhaps... but

Haha perhaps, but I didn't add them 'til you asked so that may also have been Safari's problem ;)

Doesn't work on Google Chrome

Site looks good and is a great advance on what preceded it. Thanks for the great work!
Doesn't work on Google Chrome however. This browser is by some measures third in market share, currently at about 10% and rising, and this will only accelerate with all the new Android web devices and phones in the market. And more importantly it's my main browser and reading TheatrePeople will be awkward without it. :-)

Works fine for me

I'm using Chrome and it's all working fine - I had to refresh a few pages to clear the cache but haven't had any issues since.

Good to know!

I got a hold of a PC with Chrome at work and couldn't see any issues either! Thanks for the feedback!

Tested in Chrome

Interesting to know. I tested in Chrome on a mac when I was building it, and had no problems, so I'll have to get a hold of a PC with Chrome to see what you are talking about. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey it looks great! My only

Hey it looks great! My only usability/readability issue is that the font used for the Headlines is perhaps a little overpoweringly big and bold.

Fair point... I will have a look at this in the coming weeks. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated
