Theatre and Orchestra pit help.

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I am currently completing my final research project on theatre spaces, with a focus on looking at orchestra or band pits and their acoustics. Part of my project is to conduct a short study and carry out some experiments. The study is looking at the sound levels in these areas, and how they have been designed to overcome the problems. I was wondering whether anyone had access or knew of anyone who could allow me access to a theatre or opera house with an orchestra pit. I would only need the space for a short time. I have already heard back from HMT, Mariner Group and Melbourne Theatre Company and they are unable to accommodate me. I was thinking maybe the smaller theatres, or theatres who aren't staging a production at the moment, would be more accessible? I would appreciate any help.
