Journalism Interview on Theatre

To whom it may concern,

Hi! I'm a second year journalism student at Deakin University in Geelong, Victoria. I'm writing to you, because as your site suggests, you are theatre enthusiasts.

For the assignment, my topic is on performance, and I've chosen to take an angle on theatre performance, and how audience satisfaction has changed over the years, particularly in the Geelong area, but Melbourne is alright too. If you have anyone in that area who can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking to see how audience satisfaction relates with ticket sales, and what you have to say on all this.

It's not often the audience members are interviewed; usually it's just the industry professionals and actors, so gaining the opinion of theatre-goers would greatly balance out my article and hopefully help influence more people to watch live theatre.

If you could respond back with a time and medium that suits you, to answer a few questions, that'd be great.

Thanks for your time!

Sincerely,
Jessica Morrow

Audiences in Geelong

Hey Jessica,

The person to speak to in Geelong is David Greenwood.  He runs CenterStage Theatre Company down there and he's got a finger on the pulse of the Geelong theatre community.  He's also a great bloke, so I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out!

Best of luck
