How to train your dragon

I would imagine its just too expensive. At a guess (with nothing to back it up with) I would say it would struggle to be cost effective to bring a production of this size over the Nullarbor, in this economic climate.

I am really not sure what the long term effect on Perth theatre would be. What is worse? If it comes to Perth, but fails to make the necessary profit to justify the trip, thus lessening the chance of other productions taking the risk, or not coming here, and once again we miss an opportunity to hook young people on to theatre.

I have just moved here from Melbourne and in comparison, there is no Performing Arts community! I've looked everywhere for information....it's just lacking!

Would appreciate any tips or directions you could point me in!?
