StageArtXposed is Australia’s most unique, innovative and exciting arts festival, which provides an incredible opportunity for a range of ambitious theatrical artists who are fortunate enough to be selected for the February 2013 festival.

Offering an in-kind valued sponsorship at a minimum of $3000 artists will be given complete support from beginning to end

StageArt are casting the widest possible net by calling for applications
from all facets of the arts:
MUSICALS and PLAYS, COMEDY and CABARET, DRAG and DANCE, FASHION and FILM. 


We welcome any and all genres. Artists of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

To leave the performers free to create their special brand of theatrical magic, StageArt will offer unprecedented support in bringing the productions to the stage.

Artistic Director: Paul Watson

Our resident festival director, Paul Watson, is responsible for the festivals program in 2013, he will be on-hand as mentor to each festival project during the rehearsal and performance phase. Paul will discuss technical capabilities, venue specs, design and execution, and also offer his creative and directional input and advice should you require it.

With large commercial producers presenting safe, proven shows, StageArt was formed to meet a need in current Australian theatre: the creation and promotion of new and original work.

With significant experience in all aspects of production, Armstrong and Carmellotti realized they could pool their talents and resources. Armstrong’s expertise in marketing, public relations and event management is a perfect complement for Carmellotti’s flair for production and direction.

StageArt is committed to creating professional opportunities for Australian performers. The blend of established stars with relative newcomers draws attention to the projects while providing a unique opportunity for performers to gain greater exposure.
