Malthouse Season 2012

The Malthouse Theatre has announced its 2012 season which is designed to present one single season that reflects the breadth and vivacity of Australian contemporary performance across its three stages.

It will also feature a brand new and stand-alone season dedicated to independent theatre artists – Helium.
 

“Independent artists are often at the forefront of the artistic zeitgeist and we want to assist them and their work with the profile and exposure they deserve,“ said Artistic Director Marion Potts.
 

Malthouse's jam packed season will feature 12 main stage productions; 6 world premieres; 5 new commissions; Helium and OperaXS.
