iTalentCast is an exciting new system that gives actors the ability to audition for on-screen, on-stage and voice over roles anywhere, any time. Via the user-friendly website or iPhone app, artists can find new roles being cast, record auditions, and upload their auditions directly to the website be viewed by casting agents.

Along with the ability to audition for roles, an iTalentCast membership gives an actor a profile page, to which they can upload their showreel, voice over demo, headshot and CV. Membership also includes free SMS and email notifications of all available auditions, so you’re always in touch and aware of the roles you could be auditioning for.

About the Author

Chris is a founding partner of Theatre People. Over the the past thirteen years, he has made his mark on the theatre community as an actor, singer and dancer, appearing in over thirty large scale productions. Chris made his professional theatre debut in as a principal performer in Follies In Concert at the Crown Showroom. The many faces of Hughesy have been spotlit in lead and principal roles in Anything Goes, Sweet Charity, Oklahoma, Bye Bye Birdie, The Wiz, Chess, Hot Mikado, Grease , Pirates of Penzance and Jesus Christ Superstar, The Hot Mikado, Whitehorse's West Side Story and most recently is Johnny O'Keefe in CLOC's Shout! Chris has earned multiple nominations by the Music Theatre Guild for his performances in various roles over the years including a best director nomination for the critically acclaimed production of  Assassins.

Hmmm... this might actually be interesting if they'd made the app available in other formats, rather than only for Apple products.

Hey Anon... I had a chat with the guys who released the app. They said

"An android app will be developed in the future, but currently the app is only available via iPhone. People without iPhones can still access all of iTalentCast's features via their computer, and non-iPhone phone will still receive SMS notifications about auditions."
