Albert Namatjira's beautiful paintings introduced the lounge rooms of Australian suburbia to the exquisite beauty of our central desert heartland. In 2010, Belvoir and Big hART transformed the rich watercolours of Namatjira's story into a joyous theatrical event. Namatjira opens at the Malthouse tonight and runs till August 28.
