Peter Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre! The classic '60s rock opera by "The Who" was translated to the stage into a high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical event.
Deprived of sight, hearing and speech by the shock of what he has witnessed as a child, young Tommy Walker seems lost to life – until he reveals an uncanny talent for the game of pinball. When his faculties are suddenly restored, Tommy is hailed as a living miracle – but will the fans who turn to him for enlightenment want to hear what he has to say?
Featuring a nine piece rock band, a cast of forty, multi-media elements, five different pinball machines plus many memorable songs which featured on the singles charts of the day. Come on the Amazing Journey with us and the Pinball Wizard for five performances only.
Parental guidance is advised for this production which draws on and explores the culture and society of the 1940s to 1960s, all presented with a school audience in mind.
