In 2012 Malthouse Theatre offers a paid internship for a female director. Over a 6 month period (timing can be flexible depending on the availability of the director) the recipient of the internship will have access to company life in a professional performing arts company, and be given opportunities to assist the Artistic Director Marion Potts and/or Associate Artist (Direction) Matt Lutton.
The 2011 National Class Clowns Final will be held at the Malthouse Theatre. Featuring Harley Breen as emcee and special feature act by musical duo Smart Casual.
Namatjira opened at Malthouse Theatre last week to standing ovations and rave reviews. Bringing the audience to its feet every night, this spellbinding production literally illustrates the extraordinary life of Albert Namatjira.
