In 2012 it’s our 40th anniversary – and we’ve got some fantastic shows lined up to celebrate!

It’s a rare thing in our little world of theatre to be surprised by a production.

Puppets seem to be the flavour of the month at Altona City Theatre.  Earlier this year it was Princeton and Kate Monster and the kooky crew from Avenue Q.  And what a fabulous production it was.  But the Altona stage is about to be taken over by a puppet of a very different ilk. Move over Trekkie, here comes Audrey II and she’s HUNGRY.

Altona City Theatre are very excited to announce their cast for upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors.

Avenue Q was recently named in American magazine Entertainment Weekly as the best musical of the decade, for breaking the mould with its Sesame Street-for-grown-ups concept and X-rated puppets.
